HID Highlights: The Latest from Dublin's Academic Heartbeat
Words from Our Dean:
In this month's spotlight, we feature inspiring quotes from our esteemed Dean at Holmes Institute Dublin, designed to motivate and guide our students through their academic and personal journeys.
" At exactly 10am last Monday you could hear a pin drop in Merrion Square as Exam Season formally started. Exams went on all week and finished on Friday. It was a very busy week and now everyone has gone home for a break before next Semester. The weather was good all week and those that needed to relax after the exams could sit in the park or visit the food stalls that set up every Thursday at lunch time.
Not everyone is resting however, there is a lot of marking going on and lecturers are busier than ever, but it will all be worth it when the results come out at the end of June.
My advice to anyone wondering what to do with their free time is to wander into any one of the free museums or the National Gallery, they are a fabulous resource and quite literally on our doorstep. You could also use your free time to come up with good ideas for field trips with Jade.
I look forward to seeing everyone back in June when we will welcome a new cohort of students.
Until we speak again next month – Eileen “
These words serve as a beacon for our students, reminding them that their time at HID is not just about acquiring knowledge but about growing, overcoming challenges, and preparing for a future full of possibilities.
